Secure ID Card

The "High Security" (HS) is a format of RFID readers having a high level of security that has been developed by the company EFG CZ spol. s r.o. The main aim in creating this format was to minimize the possibility of misuse of the RFID technology in the 125 kHz band. The RFID readers with the HS format use a special algorithm of reading the identifiers preventing them from reading of unknown cards.

The RFID system based on the HS format evaluates only specially prepared identifiers, which are determined for specific contract, and foreign identifiers are not evaluated. Unlike normal 125 kHz RFID readers, in which always all the identifiers are evaluated, there is significantly less potential for abuse. To enter the HS identifiers into the Aktion system, it is necessary to purchase the local reader APR-P20/USB.
